James Everett Wylie Memorial Bursary

This bursary has been established by Paola Di Paolo to honour the life of her husband James Everett Wylie (1953-2021). As a child, James developed a life-long passion for fishing. He and his father would rise very early in the morning and spend the day by the water where James frequently out-fished his dad. Fly Fishing on Credit Rivers especially, gave him an identity when he struggled as a young man.

He was also passionate about conservation in later years. James loved being at home on the farm in the City of Kawartha Lakes where he and Paola rescued and cared for many animals.

Awarded to a Full-Time Student, enrolled in the Fish & WIldlife Technician Program, who demonstrates FInancial Need.
