Pippa Beck

Pippa Beck has been making mosaic art for over 20 years. She has taken numerous courses and workshops in mosaic art and design, including at the Mosaic Art School in Ravenna, Italy. An experienced facilitator with children and adults, Pippa enjoys working with a variety of materials including, glass and unglazed porcelain, natural materials like pebbles, slate and stone and upcycled materials like broken crockery and recycled mortar. She is a self-described cement nerd who employs a range of different techniques in her art practice. Thematic interests for Pippa include the natural environment. She often incorporates stone, fossils and found objects in her work. As an active member of the Ontario Mosaic Artists collective, Pippa is dedicated to promoting mosaic art in Ontario.
