Marg Notar

Marg Notar is a self-taught, award-winning quilt artist whose work has been juried into national and international exhibitions. Raised in a family of painters, designers, and makers, she grew up learning sewing, embroidery, and drawing, and later explored embroidery, weaving, watercolour, pottery, and stained glass. Her creative businesses have appeared in numerous provincial craft shows, including Toronto?s One of a Kind. Since 2006, she has focused on art quilting, guided by a love of colour and whimsy. For the past 25 years, Marg has also taught psychotherapy methods to graduate social work students and professionals across Canada while maintaining her own psychotherapy practice.
