Joyce Pruysers-Emmink is an accomplished fibre artist and glass artist. Graduating from Brock University with degrees in Arts and Education, Joyce has enjoyed a long career as a teacher and consultant with TLDSB. From sewing doll clothes as a young child to traditional quilting and abstract fibre art, Joyce has broadened her skills through felting, fused and stained glass, jewelry making, and wirework. Joyce currently participates in art shows as well as co-chairs The Studio Tour- Haliburton Highlands. She also enjoys teaching at her studio, Ivy Cottage, providing a vibrant space where she strives to encourage others to explore their own creative path.
