Emma Smith

Emma Smith is an award winning ceramic artist living and working in Jerseyville ON. In 2015 she opened her studio with attached gallery 'Black & Smith', where she features the work of over 50 artists from across Canada. In addition to ceramics, she enjoys exploring storytelling through clowning and dance with Hamilton Aerial Group, a grass roots aerial and stilt theatre company in Hamilton ON. Emma exhibits her ceramic work internationally, and teaches workshops across North America. She is currently working on a body of work that tells stories of childhood, place, and community.
