Dan Pantaleo,

Dan Pantaleo is a graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design, obtaining a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Illustration. Recognizing his strong environmental drive, he decided to change careers and attended Fleming College, graduating with a diploma in the Urban Forestry Technician program.

Dan has over 10 years experience in the environmental industry. As an ISA Certified arborist and qualified Tree Risk Assessor, he has worked in a variety of fields including private, municipal, consulting, business owner and educational sectors. As a licensed Pesticide Applicator, he has a strong understanding of pest and disease management and has applied this to many Plant Health Care positions. As a business owner, he has gained valuable communication skills and customer service. Over the past few of years, Dan has been a contract faculty at Fleming College, teaching within the Urban Forestry program. He delivers material pertaining to tree identification, tree health management, tree sciences and business practices. During his time at the College, he is also a Technologist for Ecosystem Skills, as well as Trees and Shrubs courses. Dan has also managed the Greenhouse at the college, overseeing all operations and related courses.

Through leadership and guidance, He is driven to be a steward for our environment, encouraging sustainability and instilling these values into all future Fleming graduates.
