Develop a foundation in the fundamental concepts of general chemistry. You will explore the nature and structure of matter, the interactions of matter, and the states of matter. Topics covered will include atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonding, chemical reactions, gas laws, solutions, and acids and bases. The emphasis will be on understanding the underlying chemical concepts and principles, and applying them to a diversity of practical systems.
