Explore the simple acts of cutting, tearing and manipulating found and made materials to encourage new ways of seeing and creating. This fun but information packed course will be a great opportunity to explore colour relationships, shifts in value, manipulate shapes and vary surface texture, leading to expressive and unique artwork. Expect conversations on modern collage artists and hands on exercises exploring a variety of themes from abstract to landscape. There will be ample opportunities to develop your own work. This course will be a fun opportunity to refresh your artistic voice with a new way of creating.
A $20 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
