Painting the Language of Abstraction

Course Code: ARTS2738

In this course, you will learn to express yourself through colour, composition, and texture. You will be shown a variety of different techniques that will inspire you to create a series of small abstract daily pieces using acrylics and other mediums. Develop your own colour palette with basic primary colours and learn how to use your whole body to add expression and dynamism to your work. The course will culminate, by completing a large acrylic painting that incorporates key elements of abstraction.
A $80 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
