All levels of experience welcome.
Explore mixed media, assemblage and upcycling as you are guided through strategies in how to see potential in objects and materials and ways to combine them into cohesive projects. Discover practical methods of manipulating a variety of seemingly random things into beautiful, wacky, useful or decorative art pieces. There are many things in nature, thrift stores, scrap bins, and your own closet just waiting to be given new life as art! Prepare yourself with an open mind to go on a treasure hunt and think outside the box.You are encouraged to bring a small collection of objects or materials.
A $30 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class.
Many supplies and tools will be provided.
