Learning Disabilities and other Disorders
Course Code: EDUC146
Acquire a more detailed understanding of the psychological processes associated with different types of learning disabilities, including NVLDs (Nonverbal Learning Disabilities) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Learn about ADHD and its different presentations, and become aware of current issues related to learning disability diagnosis, the efficacy of assistive technology, and the accommodation for students of extra time to complete tasks or prove learning outcomes. Pre-requisite: Learning Disabilities and Other Disorders (or prior work/study with those experiencing learning disabilities).
