Expressive Arts - Activating Your Creative Intelligence

Course Code: ARTS2994

Cultivate presence, receptivity and wonder through embodied creative practise as you waken your creative intelligence - the felt, intuitive capacity that fuels imagination, insight, and artistic expression. Through a weave of movement, guided reflection, poetry, and simple visual arts practices, explore creativity as an embodied, relational process that connects you to yourself, to one another, and to the living landscape. Some practices will take place outdoors in the Haliburton Sculpture Forest, inviting you to connect with the elements as collaborators in your creative process. Through simple rituals and noticing practices, explore how creativity arises in the dynamic interplay between body and environment, self and nature. By attuning to the rhythms and textures of the natural world, cultivate presence, receptivity, and wonder. No artistic experience is required.
