Abstraction - Floral Interpretations

Course Code: ARTS2653

Artists of all skill levels are welcome.
In this course you will work from still life and photographic references of floral and organic shapes to enhance your observations and interpretations of classic floral forms. Creating work that draws from fresh perspectives and ideas, you will participate in painting, drawing and collage exercises that focus on loosening up and building on your approach to shape, colour mixing and composition. The emphasis throughout the course will be on experimentation, play and fostering individual expression. Plan to have fun pushing the limits of what is seen and known of the floral world as you create lively personal work with a variety of surfaces and materials.
A $10 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
