Not much of a planner? No worries, we have plenty of drop-in experiences you can check out whenever the mood strikes during our open hours. Here’s what you can explore:
Layers – Faculty Exhibition
Visit the Great Hall to experience the creativity of our talented faculty throughout the summer with exhibitions running through June, July, and August.
Haliburton Sculpture Forest
Step into a one-of-a-kind outdoor gallery featuring sculptures by Canadian and international artists. Take a free self-guided tour through the forest trails and discover unique works of art surrounded by nature. Start at the kiosk between the college and the residence building, then explore at your own pace.
Indigenous Spaces – Bindigen
Meaning “welcome” or “come in,” this dedicated Indigenous space honours learning, reflection, and community. Located in the timber frame outbuilding, it features the stunning mural Welcoming Song by Indigenous artist Jared Tait.
Whether you’re here for a summer course or just passing through, this season at HSAD is your chance to relax, connect, and celebrate the power of creativity. We look forward to welcoming you to or beyond the studio!
