Top Chef Canada Executive Chef Rob Rossi to visit Fleming College
Peterborough ON – (April 11, 2014) – Chef Rob Rossi, from the television show Top Chef Canada and executive Chef and owner of Bestellen Restaurant in Toronto, will visit Fleming College’s Sutherland Campus next week.
Chef Rossi will be speaking with the graduating Culinary Management and Hotel and Restaurant Management classes on Thursday, April 17. He will discuss his experience on Top Chef Canada, his international culinary work, his love for the industry, and his newest venture Bestellen Restaurant.
Chef Rossi has developed a gourmet four-course menu for the graduating students’ final lunch, in appreciation of their hard work and dedication. He will be working with second semester culinary students to prepare and serve an authentic Italian feast for the graduates.
The schedule for the day is:
Thursday, April 17, 2014
– 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Talk with the graduating classes in Fulford’s (on the 6th Floor), followed by a question and answer session
– 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Lunch prepared in the Culinary Lab and served in Fulford’s
– 2 to 3 p.m. – Networking opportunities with the graduating classes
