This event will feature guest speakers with a Cartographic emphasis.
Presentations will include:
– Tammy Sikma, County of Peterborough, GIS Manager
– Paul Heersink, Esri Canada, Community Mapping Project
– Venessa Michalsen, Ministry of Natural Resources, Provincial Geomatics Service Centre
– Shawn Bulbrook, Scalar Decisions Inc., IT Architect
Following the talks, there will be a short forum/panel and question period.
This event is an opportunity for students in Fleming College’s GIS programs to learn more about careers in GIS and hear about what is happening in the field.
