Fleming College to pay tribute to Peterborough Century 21 Lakers

Peterborough ON (November 13, 2019) – Fleming College will pay tribute to the Peterborough Century 21 Lakers in honour of another successful season on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 3:30 p.m. Members of the media and community are invited to attend this special celebration at Sutherland Campus, 599 Brealey Dr., Peterborough.

The Mann Cup and other major series lacrosse trophies will be on hand along with Lakers players and staff. Fleming College will honour the origins of the sport within Indigenous nations and include a history of the Lakers, as well as greetings from Lakers officials. 

The event will occur from 3:30 – 4 p.m. in the main foyer of Sutherland Campus. Parking will be available in Ash, Aspen, Oak and Elm Lot, as well as Accessible parking. Please enter through the main entrance.
