Cobourg Campus ‘Souper Bowl’ UW fundraiser: Nov. 6

Published

The Cobourg Campus of Fleming College will be serving up delicious soups and chilis at the ninth annual Souper Bowl fundraiser for Northumberland United Way on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The Souper Bowl Luncheon and Bake Sale will take place at the campus, 1005 Elgin St. in Cobourg. For only $10 participants can enjoy a bottomless bowl of steaming hot soup, a roll with butter and a bottle of water. There will be many varieties of soups and chilis to choose from (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options), and the bake sale table will be overflowing with delectable desserts. Entertainment in the campus Bistro will be provided by Fleming’s own “Busker Blane” Harvey, Vice-President Academic.

The campus is once again partnering with the Help Centre and Community Living West Northumberland to raise a goal of $1,750, supported by donations from the Dutch Oven in Cobourg and Aramark. Last year $1,900 was raised.

All are welcome to join us for lunch – buy a ticket and support the United Way.
