Employees recognized with 2014 Fleming Awards

At its meeting of April 30, the Fleming College Board of Governors approved this year’s recipients for the following Fleming Awards.

 

The Charles E. Pascal Award for Excellence in Teaching

– Roberta Legacy from the School of General Arts and Sciences who has, most recently, taught business students.

 

The Vice-President Academic’s Contract Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching

– Brenda Hill who teaches in the Health Information Management program in the School of Community Development and Health.

 

The President’s Recognition Award for Support Staff

– Jennifer Langenberg
, Integration Facilitator in the Community Integration Through Cooperative Education program.

 

The Leadership Award

– Roger Fitch, Director of Information Technology Operations.

The Teamwork Award

– The Collections Conservation and Management Diploma Faculty Team, comprised of Gayle McIntyre, Cindy Colford, Deborah Scott, Tina Hayward, Miriam Harris, Dorothy McCord and Bev Easton.

 

You can show your support and offer your own congratulations to the award recipients by attending the events where the awards will be presented.

 

Roberta’s award will be presented at the School of Justice and Business Studies convocation ceremony on Wednesday, June 11 at 2 p.m. at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre.

Brenda will receive her award at the School of Community Development and Health convocation ceremony on Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre.

All other awards will be presented at the Sutherland Campus All-Staff meeting on Thursday, June 19 at 1 p.m. in the Whetung Theatre.
