Scholarships and Bursaries
The Rotary Club of Peterborough is an organization made up of business and professional men and women in the Peterborough area. The Rotary Club of Peterborough members share the purpose of 'providing humanitarian service, encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations and building goodwill and peace in the world". Members are encouraged to demonstrate the Rotary International motto of "Service above Self".
This fund was created from the generous bequests to the Rotary Club of Peterborough by Laura Davidson and Helen Robinson and others in the community of Peterborough.
The Rotary Club of Peterborough has supported and assisted local secondary school students in their pursuit of post-secondary education for many years. This bursary is a reflection of that continued support.
Awarded to full-time students in any program at any campus of Fleming College, who is physically or mentally disabled or have such other disability as defined under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
*Student must have resided in Ontario for twelve months prior to beginning their post-secondary studies.
