Janet Honsberger Endowed Bursary

Janet Honsberger is a retired faculty member from Fleming College who worked for 29 years (1981-2010) in a variety of roles including that of a Teacher, Program Coordinator, Department Administrator, Campus Principal, Academic Team Leader, Curriculum Consultant, and Facilitator of Faculty Professional Development. While always working in multi-disciplinary environments, her heart lies with the Community Development, Health, and Arts and Heritage programs. In particular, Janet supports educational efforts directed toward the promotion of Global Citizenship through initiatives that address health and well-being, community development, and social justice.

Awarded to a domestic full-time student, who demonstrates financial need and, is registered in the Visual and Creative Art diploma and/or any of the Arts certificate programs offered by the Haliburton School of Art + Design.

* Student must have resided in Ontario for twelve months prior to beginning their post-secondary studies.

By completing this application, you will be considered for all college-administered bursaries and scholarships for which you are eligible. To apply, log into myCampus (the student portal), and go to the Student Centre section. The Apply Now! button will open the on-line application as long as you have a valid SIN on file. If you do not have a valid SIN on file, you are required to provide proof of SIN (any government issued document with your name and SIN) and government issued photo-id at the Registrar's Office so your record may be updated. Please note that bursary applications will not be evaluated until after the application deadline date.
