Aly McDonald

Aly McDonald is a black-biracial acrylic painter and visual artist navigating emotions, bodily autonomy and bodily integrity through art. She describes her work as contemporary nude expressionism. Using vibrant and bold acrylic colours, Aly strives to express that even when a body is in a vulnerable state of nudity every individual's body is their own. Nudity isn't inherently sexual. Aly graduated Fleming College-Haliburton School of Art + Design in 2019 with their Visual and Creative Arts Diploma, and a certificate in Painting and Drawing.
