Apply web design principles that will support your ability to service small and medium sized business clients. Select the best hosting solution and domain name for a website. Evaluate, recommend and apply themes, plugins, widgets, content architecture, user experience and other solutions. Analyze client needs and apply appropriate solutions within a WordPress environment. Understand the basic concepts of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Implement security and backup strategies and learn how to use WordPress as a complete e-commerce platform. Knowledge of HTML is recommended for this course.
