Students must be capable of working safely with fire and tools. No previous metalworking experience necessary.
Learn how to use fire, an anvil and hammers to bend hot steel, as well as methods for bending steel cold. Create a large wall-hanging metal artwork of an image of your choice to put up in your room. You will be taking a line drawing and tracing it in steel. Learn how to use a MIG welder, and how to safely use many tools found in a metal shop.
