Printmaking - Intro to Copper Drypoint Workshop

Course Code: ARTS3004

Learn the fundamentals of drypoint printmaking in this hands on workshop. Etch your own design into a small copper plate using a drypoint needle or carbon scribe, exploring line quality, texture, and mark-making as you work. Once your image is complete, you will learn how to ink and wipe the plate, then print it on dampened paper using a press to reveal your final image. Leave with your own finished print and a clear understanding of the drypoint printmaking process.
