The town of Haliburton and nearby locations such as the Sculpture Forest, local waterfalls and charming historic buildings set in treed landscapes provide great inspiration for drawing. Capture quick gestures of people strolling through parks and nearby lakes as you enhance perspective to your skill set and pastel colour to your drawings. Emphasis will be placed on mark-making, creating atmosphere using simple materials and developing depth with value studies. Delight in working on a coloured drawing. Time will be provided to work on larger pieces. Pack simply and have a sketchbook travelogue by the end of the week. All levels of experience welcome.
