Fibre Arts - Visible Mending & Embellishment on a Denim Garment

Make a custom denim piece of wearable art. Learn all about mending and embellishing denim garments by hand and machine. Bring your own pair of jeans, a jean jacket, jean skirt or button-down denim shirt and customize it in your own style. Learn how to make eye catching visible mends and forever be prepared for when rips and tears inevitably happen. Explore your artistic and fashion style by adding applique, studs, lace and sequins to make your garment uniquely yours. Learn hand embroidery as well as utilizing your sewing machine's pre-programmed stitches. Make machine-embroidered patches that can later be sewn on to your garment. You will have access to a plethora of supplies, whether your style is studs and leather, or lace and flowers, or maybe a bit of both!
A $50 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
