Criminology
Course Code: LAWS109
Examine various theoretical explanations of criminal behaviour including the sociological, biological and psychological perspectives. The reality of crime in Canada including victimology is examined through crime statistics as are the correlations of criminal behaviour. The impact of theory on the development and effectiveness of the criminal justice system is discussed with emphasis on future trends within the system.
