This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Create dynamic work by learning techniques to become confident and proficient with the palette knife as your main painting tool. This course will explore how to effectively control paint on the canvas, using the palette knife to create rich, textured surfaces that bring your landscapes to life. There will be a focus on underpainting and composition. At the end of the week, you will feel inspired to incorporate palette-knife techniques into your regular painting practice, adding another layer of expression and creativity to your art. Whether you are an experienced beginner looking to expand your skills or a seasoned painter seeking new challenges, this course will provide you with valuable tools and insights to enhance your oil painting repertoire. This course is open to all levels, though artists with at least some basic painting experience will benefit the most from this experience.
