Internet Mapping

Course Code: COMP157

Gain an overview of Internet Mapping and its applications as well as hands-on experience creating web-enabled files. We will review and compare different web mapping software and new technologies such as Geography Markup Language (GML) and Mobile Mapping. With an introduction to the basis of JavaScript, HTML and XML, you will be able to use ArcExplorer (a free downloadable program) to create ArcIMS web enabled files, and edit and publish them with the help of your instructor.
