Holiday Card Making Workshop

Course Code: ARTS2784

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Nothing is better than receiving a handmade card over the Holidays. Learn how to carve a block of soft-cut lino to print onto greeting cards. Smaller lino-blocks can be used to decorate envelopes or gift paper. Learn about tool safety/techniques, tricks to transfer your drawing to the lino (so that it doesn't print the mirror image) as well as proper use of ink brayers and pressing techniques (both by hand and with a press).
