Upgrade your knowledge of the various techniques used to disinfect wastewater plant effluent. Chlorination, ozonation and ultraviolet disinfection methods are reviewed, but the main focus is on disinfection by chlorination. You will learn how to inspect new chlorine facilities for proper installation, schedule and conduct chlorination operation and maintenance duties and recognize factors that indicate the chlorination process is not performing properly and identify the source of the problem and take corrective action.
