Study the main purpose of sludge digestion, factors affecting single stage and two stage digestion, aerobic systems, as well as the differences between sludge and biosolids. We will review tests and records required to maintain process control in single stage digestion, the concentration of solids in percentages expected in raw primary sludge and waste activated sludge, methods used to dewater sludge, and methods of final sludge disposal. 0.7 Wastewater Operator CEUs (ID: 7686)
