Complementary Therapies, Introduction
Course Code: HLTH382
Study the history, development and practical application of complementary (alternative) therapies and modern medicine at an introductory level. Examine specific complementary therapies from historical, theoretical, and practical application perspectives, both for widely accepted practices as well as more controversial therapies. Subjects include Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines, Naturopathy and Homeopathy, Chiropractic, Hydro- and Aromatherapies, and others.
