Jennifer Foster

Jennifer has had a long and great career in the field of Child and Youth Care. Graduating with a CYW diploma and then onto her CYC degree, she has had the opportunity to apply her knowledge and skills to be the first CYC's to become a Child Protection Worker in Dufferin County. Jen went on to create, own and operate a private residential care and private school program for adolescents in foster care.

Jen spent some time working with a foster care program in the recruitment and training of foster families across Ontario. Jen was also very fortunate in being involved with the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors for 8 years and the Acting Executive Director for 3 1/2 years. Jennifer continues to be an advocate for the field of child and youth work, believing it to be one of the greatest and most important job with children and young people and has a great deal of pride in the work we all do every day.
