Improv Craft

Course Code: ARTS0322

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Improv enables and encourages creativity, not just for comedians and actors, but in all aspects of life. This course offers tools to collaborate and empower you to experiment with whatever you have in front of you. Employ playfulness and discovery as you are guided through a series of fun games and exercises. Improvising techniques teach you to be better listeners and collaborators - in storytelling or in your work and home life. When you listen and accept offers and ideas from your collaborators you engage more fully with each other and you're able to refine your own points of view. Laugh together and experience honesty and trust that is invaluable to a shared human experience.
