The Stache Dash: cancer fundraiser

Get your moustaches ready to run.

Fleming College’s residence at the Sutherland Campus will be hosting the Stache Dash this weekend to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Close to 150 participants have signed up for the 1km walk and 5km run that will take place on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m., starting and ending at the Sutherland Residence Village, Sutherland Campus, 599 Brealey Dr. in Peterborough.

As part of the Stache Dash, Scott Cannata, leader of The Run to Live, will be speaking at the event and participating in the run. (www.theruntolive.com/scott-cannata.html)

Senior Residence Advisor Jeff Grabko is organizing the event with support from Sutherland Village Residence, the Student Administrative Council, Frost Campus residence and the Frost Student Association.

This event is free and open to anyone who wants to participate. All participants will be asked to fill out a registration form the day of the event (a permission form so photos can be taken for the Cancer Society).
