  Graduates from this program praise the variety of skills covered: carpentry/ framing techniques, electricity basics, welding, and blueprint reading. Graduates may receive credit towards Carpenter Apprentice. OCAS Code: CNS

• Heavy Equipment Operator

• Human Services Foundation

• Office Administration - Executive
  

  4-semester Diploma. Peterborough Campus

  This program teaches you advanced administrative skills and business applications to obtain highly-skilled office jobs including managerial positions. In Semester 1 & 2 you will take courses in conjunction with Office Administration-General to learn the foundational courses.   This program focuses on both the technical and software skills required in today’s public and private sector office environment and the human and problem solving behavioural skills demanded of all employees. OCAS Code: OAG

• Outdoor Adventure Education

  Learn to plan and lead outdoor adventures, and provide educational and interpretive programming. Share your appreciation of the outdoors while you help others develop their skills and confidence. OCAS Code: ODE

• Outdoor Adventure Skills

  Outdoor enthusiasts are trained and certified for positions in the adventure tourism industry. Students can obtain several outdoor certifications, which would ordinarily require travel throughout Ontario, throughout the year. OCAS Code: OAS

• Personal Support Worker

• Plumbing Techniques

• Welding Techniques

  Students will gain extensive hands-on experience on the most demanding processes used in the industry and graduate with employable skills to assist them in obtaining well-paying jobs in the welding trade. OCAS Code: WTQ

Admission Requirements:

OSSD with the majority of credits at the Workplace (E) level, including English. When Workplace (E) is the minimum course level for admission, (C) and (U/C) level courses are also accepted. Students with the majority of credits at the Workplace (E) level, including English, can enter one of these certificate or diploma programs.*

All OSSD Programs Lead to the Workplace and Some Lead to Additional Programs
