New Pre-Apprenticeship Electrician program

Peterborough ON – (February 11, 2015) – Fleming College will offer a free, full-time pre-apprenticeship program starting next month.

Pre-apprenticeship Electrician is a 32-week program that will start on March 23, 2015. The program begins with eight weeks of in-class instruction, job readiness training and secondary trade training in carpentry. It continues with 12 weeks of electrician training, and concludes with a 12-week paid work placement.

This Employment Ontario program is fully funded by the Ontario government. There is no cost for participants: tuition, text books, tools and safety equipment are all covered.
