See inside Haliburton School of The Arts via Google’s Business View

Published

Haliburton ON – (October 2, 2014) – If you want to take a tour of Fleming College’s Haliburton School of The Arts (HSTA) but can’t get there in person, a new feature allows inside – and outside – virtual views of the Campus, studios and Sculpture Forest.

Via Google’s Business View, desktop and device users can search and tour HSTA with the click of a mouse or the tap of a finger. The Business View helps with Google search optimization, and provides better mapping and presence for the Campus on the search engine.

“This opens a digital window to our Haliburton Campus and the Sculpture Forest through the most ubiquitous search engine in the world,” said Drew Van Parys, Fleming College’s Director of Marketing.

To visit the campus virtually, search ‘Haliburton School of The Arts’ on Google or see this map

The Business View feature is expected to be rolled out for Fleming’s Frost and Sutherland campuses over the next year.

Day to Play

The Business View feature has been launched just in time for a special event taking place at the campus on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Day to Play event allows prospective students to tour the campus, try out one-hour art workshops, explore the Sculpture Forest, enjoy a light lunch, and meet local artists.

Please note: event registration is required for workshops and lunch. Media are welcome to attend throughout the day. For more information: www.hsta.ca.
