New spring start for Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program

Peterborough ON – (March 6, 2015) – Fleming College’s School of Trades and Technology is launching a spring start for the Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (HRAC) program.

The compressed, three-semester diploma program currently offers September and January starts. The new intake for HRAC will start in May 2015 at the Sutherland Campus in Peterborough.

Fleming’s HRAC program emphasizes renewable, sustainable and alternative energy efficient solutions for the indoor environment industry. Upon graduation, students can write their TSSA Gas and Oil exams. Students also graduate with tickets for Working at Heights; Hoisting and Rigging; Lockout/Tag out; and WHMIS.

Classes take place in the new Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre. The 87,000-square-foot facility opened in September 2014 and offers state-of-the art equipment, labs and classroom space for trades and technology students.
