Royal Roads University (RRU) and Fleming College have signed a new agreement that will allow graduates of three diploma programs at Fleming to complete a degree at RRU.

Hospitality, Tourism – Global Travel, and Recreation and Leisure Services graduates can apply to attend RRU’s Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management while alumni of Hospitality and Tourism – Global Travel can apply to the Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel Management.

Eligible Fleming graduates who meet all prerequisites can enter directly into third year standing of the honours degree programs, allowing students to graduate with a diploma and a degree in as few as three years.

“Such pathways recognize the valuable education students receive at Fleming College‎ and are a testament to the academic excellence of the College,” said Maxine Mann, Dean of Fleming’s School of Business. “These pathways attract students with a global perspective who will become our next industry leaders.”

“This is an excellent opportunity for Fleming students to achieve a degree in Canada,” added Patti Watson, Coordinator of Fleming’s Tourism – Global Travel program.

“We are pleased to partner with Fleming College,” says Brian White, Director of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Royal Roads University. “Through the pursuit of a degree at Royal Roads, Fleming graduates will learn from scholar practitioners who are industry leaders, as well as participate in work integrated learning experiences with industry leading organizations.
