Information for Ontario High School Applicants: OSSTF Labour Disruption
To All Ontario Secondary School Applicants:
Fleming College is aware of the current labour disruption by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) in Durham Region, and the potential impact of other ongoing labour negotiations around the province.
We appreciate that this may be a stressful time for students and families impacted by the labour disruption.
We wish to assure you that every effort is being made to ensure that applications continue to be processed and offers of admission issued.
Fleming College is working closely with colleges across the province and the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) to ensure that any potential impacts to current applicants will be minimized and that contingency plans are put in place.
We will also work closely with new applicants to Fleming College who may be impacted by the current labour disruption to ensure that their applications are considered fairly and efficiently.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update information on our website as events evolve. The Ontario Colleges Application Service will also continue to provide updates at http://www.ontariocolleges.ca/news. We encourage you to stay connected with your local school as well.
