Fleming College opening its doors to future students at Open House


 Peterborough ON – (March 26, 2014) – Fleming College will welcome hundreds of future students to its annual spring Open House on Saturday, April 5, 2014.

Open House will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all campuses of the college in Peterborough, Lindsay, Haliburton and Cobourg.

Meet with faculty and students, take a tour, and learn more about financial assistance, student life, and housing. Program demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day. Here are just a few of the events happening at each campus:

– Sutherland Campus – Get a sneak peek at the new Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre;

– Frost Campus – Blasting demonstration every hour on the hour with a grand finale at 1 p.m., and Outdoor Adventure Skills students will be demonstrating hypothermic wrap and cold water safety tips at 11 a.m. and noon;

– Haliburton Campus – Interact with students during live art demonstrations as they work in their studios;

– Cobourg Campus – Tour the campus spa, run by students in the Esthetician program.
