Environmental Visual Communication (EVC) Virtual Open House

Published

Fleming College welcomes prospective students of the Environmental Visual Communication program to participate in the Virtual Open House on Wednesday, March 14 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The live webcast will include an introduction to the program by Environmental Visual Communication (EVC) program developer Neil Osborne, program information and case study examples from the field.

The EVC post-graduate certificate program, which is a partnership between Fleming College and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), teaches students how to use communication and multimedia resources to educate others about conservation issues. The six-month program begins on May 7 and is taught onsite at the ROM in Toronto, where students can interact with world-class museum research and education staff.

Participants of the webcast will have the opportunity to ask questions covering topics such as the program, the ROM learning environment, and the eight-week summer Applied Project Placement.

On March 14, visit flemingcollege.ca/evc-virtual-open-house at 7 p.m. to participate. For those unable to take part, the complete webcast will be available until April 10, 2012.
