A Taste of Italy: fundraising dinner
Delicious food prepared by Fleming College Culinary students will be on the menu at A Taste of Italy.
The fundraising dinner will benefit students in Fleming’s Culinary programs as well as the Good Samaritan Hands-Up Foundation – a fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough – in support of the new Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre.
Ahead of the event, local celebrity chefs will duke it out in a ‘sweet dreams’ dessert competition. The winning dessert will be served at the dinner.
A Taste of Italy will take place Friday, Jan. 25 at the Sutherland Campus in Peterborough. Starting with Aperitivo (cocktails) at 6 p.m., Cena (dinner) will be served at 7 p.m. followed by a dance and live auction.
Tickets are $125 and dress code is ‘just shy of black tie.’
