Health Services provides comprehensive, confidential healthcare to Fleming Students and promotes wellness through education and preventative health measures.

Hours of Operation

Sutherland Campus (Peterborough) - Room 409

  • Office Open: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Nurse available: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Physician Clinic:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9am – 3:30pm. (September to April)
  • Summer Clinics: as posted.
  • Appointment and Health Card are required

Frost Campus (Lindsay) - Room 254

  • Office Open: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Nurse available: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: hours as posted
  • Physician Clinic: Wednesdays 9:00am - 3:00pm (September to April)
  • Appointment and Health Card are required

Services

  • On-site nursing care by a Registered Nurse
  • Part- time Physicians clinics on campus
  • Physical exam, Pap tests, birth control, STI testing
  • Health education, Counselling
  • Assessment of illness, blood work
  • Immunization clinics: Flu / Rabies
  • Smoking Cessation support + Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)
  • Health Fairs
  • Assistance with the Entry Immunization Form; TB testing on Mondays.

Returning Student Immunization Requirements

If your placement occurs within a healthcare setting, a yearly one-step TB test is required. If your placement occurs outside of a healthcare setting, the need for an additional one-step test will be determined by your placement agency..
