Published

The Student Administrative Council has initiated a campaign to raise awareness among the campus community, and the public, on the dangers of impaired driving. During the week of November 23 to 27, awareness campaigns will be ongoing throughout Fleming College and informational material will be available on impaired driving as well as excess drinking and the effects that alcohol has on the human body. “This day is meant to raise awareness throughout Fleming College and the City of Peterborough of the dangers of impaired driving,” said Ryan Young, chairperson of the Student Administrative Council at Fleming College. The November 24 event will start with the proclamation by Mayor Ayotte, then an address from Fleming College President Tony Tilly, followed by a presentation by Matt Evans, executive director of Ontario Students against Impaired Driving.
