Fleming College Welcomes Future Students at Fall Open House

Visitors can meet with faculty, students and alumni, as well as tour the campuses, and find out more about Fleming s services including financial aid and learning supports. Students interested in attending Fleming in January 2010 can participate in the college s express application service at Open House. Fleming offers more than 40 programs that start in January, with many of those programs featuring fast-track pathways to two or three-year diplomas.Open House will also feature program demonstrations such as tree climbing with the Arboriculture students at Frost Campus, and a crime scene investigation with the Police Foundations students at Sutherland Campus. Students in the Esthetician program at the Cobourg Campus will be giving visitors mini-manicures at the Essentials Spa, and students at the Haliburton School of The Arts will have demonstrations and works of art on display.Two new sessions will be offered at this year s Open House in Peterborough and Lindsay. The College Education for Adults session is for mature students who have never been to college or may be considering a return to college.
