Youth looking for employment can find help through the Job Connect and Summer Jobs Service program at Fleming College. The Summer Jobs Service program, hosted by Job Connect Fleming College, helps students between the ages of 15 and 24 find summer jobs. The program works with more than 60 employers throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.Job Connect Fleming also serves clients at the Peterborough, Cobourg and Haliburton campuses.Year round the Job Connect program assists unemployed youth between the ages of 16 and 24, who are not returning to school, with job search, resume and interview skills, and on-the-job training.There are many jobs currently available including sales associates, prep cooks, and servers. Youth can check out new job postings on the Job Connect web site at www.jobconnectfleming.caYouth can access a variety of resources through the Summer Jobs Service program and Job Connect.
